Pet Food
Julia and I live in a small cabin and don’t have much cooking gear – two cast iron skillets, a few bowls, a two-burner stove, and a stovetop oven.
“Pet Food” includes our favorite desserts. Some, like Maple Syrup Pie, were handed down through Julia’s family. Other ones, like Banana Freezies, were invented by Julia and me when we found ourselves with a freezer full of over-ripe bananas – think the richest banana soft serve you’ve ever eaten.
The recipes are fun and simple. They’re perfect for anyone that wants to have fun in the kitchen, either alone or with kids.
Each recipe is paired with one of Julia’s animal paintings. Here’s one of our favorites, Mud Pie.
