Photo of the Day – Insulated Horizontal Bee Hive Entrance

Published June 22, 2026

Tne entrance to my newest horizontal bee hive. The circular disks can be opened and closed depeneding on where the bee colony has taken up residence in the hive. All the disks are open becuase the hive is new and uninhabited. Once I stock the hive with feral bees (I catch them), all but one of the entrances will be closed.
