On my 83-mile journey along the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail, I relied on Renegade hoof boots for my mules, Brick and Cracker. These boots proved to be reliable, with only one incident of a boot coming loose, which I was able to quickly and easily fix. I did, however, find several lost horseshoes along the trail.
