Queen Valley Mule Ranch Trail Lite Saddle Review: 2,300 Miles from North Carolina to Idaho

This is a review of how my Queen Valley Mule Ranch (QVM) Trail Lite saddle performed after I rode it 7 months and 2,300 miles from North Carolina to Idaho.

After the First 1000 Miles on a Mule

Despite the grinding pace, Brick and Cracker are holding up really well.

Their feet are holding up nicley. They’re traveling barefoot – no steel shoes. To minimize hoof wear, they wear Renegade hoof boots. These are working well, with the only issues being the usual wear and occasional broken cable. In all the miles, I’ve only lost one boot. That was yesterday and I have a mind to walk back up the highway and retrieve it.
